The BVP62825 is a high-efficiency step-down converter with a low operating quiescent current of typically 8uA and achieves output current of 2A with input voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V.
It operates with a typical switching frequency of 2.2MHz. The Internal reference allows to regulate the output voltage down to 0.6V. The entire solution requires a small 0.47uH inductor, a 4.7uF input capacitor and two 10uF output capacitor.

The BVP62825 can make the device operate with automatic conversion between PFM and PWM modes increasing efficiency in light load. The BVP62825A can make the device operate with FPWM modes to ensure the least ripple in the output voltage.

The device features a Power Good signal and an internal soft start function. It can be operating in 100% mode. For short circuit protection, the BVP62825 has Hiccup mode and thermal shutdown. The device is available in a 6-Pin 1.5x1.5mm FC-DFN package, offering the high-power solution.
