The BV6805 serves as a highly integrated power solution tailored for wearable AMOLED Display applications.

It incorporates a single-inductor-bipolar-output (SIBO) converter alongside three linear low-dropout regulators (LDO) to generate two positive and (AVDD & OVDD) one negative voltage (OVSS) outputs. Unlike traditional setups requiring an additional charge pump circuit for generating negative voltage output, the BV6805 eliminates the need for external capacitors associated with the charge pump circuit, thereby enabling significant PCB space savings.

Moreover, voltage outputs are adjustable via the SWIRE pin, the SIBO architecture of the BV6805 ensures stable high conversion efficiency across the entire negative voltage adjusting range. This solution can dynamically optimize the negative voltage output according to varying brightness requirements, effectively reducing power consumption in AMOLED displays. This comprehensive approach not only optimizes solution form factor but also minimizes display power consumption, making it an ideal choice for high-performance applications.
