The BV9001 is a highly integrated IC solution for solar system rapid shutdown and status reporting. The operating input voltage range of 0.6V to 50V from PV module, can regulate PV module voltage to 0.6V with external power MOSFET before receiving permission-to-operate PLC signal for normal solar power generation. When receiving rapid shutdown PLC signal, the PV module voltage will also be regulated to 0.6V for safety consideration. The BV9001 is available in the TSSOP-20L package.

  • UVLO, SCP, OVP, OTP protection 
  • Support partial shade, shutdown, normal operation mode, fully shade mode will keep IC in UVLO condition and will not enable shutdown function
